HTC Thunderbolt Release Date Set for February 14th

We’ve certainly enjoyed playing around with the HTC Inspire 4G these past few days, but we’ve been itching to know when Verizon was planning on launching the HTC Thunderbolt. Rumors and other documents have pegged the handset’s release sometime within the next few weeks, but now a Best Buy in Grand Rapids has declared February 14th as the official launch date.

As much as we enjoy these leaked date from retailers, we would certainly appreciate it if Verizon would stop beating around the bush and officially announce the launch date and price for the HTC Thunderbolt. Anyone disappointed with AT&T’s 4G performance over HSPA+ should be more than happy with the Thunderbolt’s data speeds on Verizon’s LTE network!
